IMPORTANT - STUDY GROUP - INFORMATION
The study group is a refresher course for those planning to test.
You will not be taught from scratch.
First, Learn the material via self-instruction or attend a course offered by the APA or local colleges.
The FPC and CPP handbooks will provide many resources that can be applied to learn the material.
Then the study group meetings can help you focus as your test approaches.
The Study group can be utilized as an assessment tool to measure knowledge & timed testing skills.
Study Materials:
You are responsible for obtaining The Payroll Source
Read Sections One and Ten (two sections) prior to the first meeting.
Complete the short answer; true/false and multiple choice questions.
For the Spring 2024 testing window, the 2023 version should be used. However, the 2022 version may also be used, keeping in mind that the test will be based on 2023 material.
Additional study resources: View IRS forms and publications for the 2023 versions of Publication 15-T, Publication 15 (Circular E), Publication 15-A, and Publication 15-B for information and figures used on the Spring 2024 CPP/FPC test.
ACTION ITEMS:

Qualifications for the exams: Payroll Org certain requirements for those looking to test for the CPP or FPC. Please ensure that you qualify to take the exam first before taking any other steps.There are specific steps you must take before you can register.
Payroll exam details for Spring 2024: The Spring exam registration window is currently open. It will close after April 19, 2024. The testing window for the CPP and FPC is from January 8, 2024 through April 20, 2024. Payroll Org has an online Certification Dashboard to help those seeking the CPP or FPC. In addition, North American residents can register and test from their home or office using OnVUE – Pearson VUE’s online proctoring exam delivery system.Questions?
